I may get a second pallet due to all the uses I have for it - and I have not even used it for an art project yet! The pallet is easy to hold, lightweight, and makes a great flat surface for projects which you may work on and may want to move easily, to work on something else. The plastic is even still on it. If I can afford a second one before I set aside time to work on painting projects, I will.

This is just what I needed to start painting. Has plenty of space for colours and blending. The only problem I had was cleaning it. If the paint dried it would seep into the wood and be almost impossible to remove and sometimes the paint didn't have to dry, it just wouldn't come out of the wood. Another thing it's lightweight and slim, not to the point where it feels flimsy but close. Another inch or two to the width would help significantly.

Almost impossible to clean, and I use mainly water based paints. Heaven forbid you use acrylics or oil.Give this one a miss. Get a glass pallet - believe me it’s much more worth it.

I loved the fact this palette is wood based, however, I'm still looking for the efficient and more convinient way to clean it.

This pallet has no finish on it. it absorbs the oil paint making it near impossible to clean. I will have to put my own coat of Poli Ur. Or return it

Went as Bob Ross and this thing helped me be more identifiable as someone specific rather than a bearded guy with an afro.

I bought this as part of an art set for my daughter's birthday present. It is light weight. I think I'd rather go for a plastic one next time though because plastic is easier to clean.

We actually used this to dress up as Bob Ross for Halloween. It worked great for that purpose but obviously I didn’t have to clean it or anything.

Pretty much what I expected but it is unfinished. I’ve never bought one of these before so i am not sure if that is normal. Besides that it’s great.

I like the look and feel of this palette. Looming closer, though, I found that surface was very thin wood and the middle layer was cheap board. This is not a hardwood palette. After one use, I rinsed it to clean my paint off and the board started to delaminate. I ultimately returned it, it does not hold up at all.

It's a nice large wooden board (though thin) and gives the classic "painter" look for costumes. We're using this decoratively so for our purposes it worked well.Taking off one star because it's just a bit flimsy, the paint can't really be cleaned off, plus the product photos imply that it comes with 2 brushes. I still have it and use it all the time. It is important to wash after done being used. I didn’t and paint just stained and stayed on the pallet. But doesn’t affect new paint being used over old paint.

My husband says he needs a bigger pallet than this one. He used this one to complete a Bob Ross painting. The tray may be too lightweight and move around easily during painting.

This is hard to clean and forget scraping dried paint because it splinters. The paint soaks into it leaving behind stains of the color. I ended up buying a plastic one instead, this ended up in the trash and a waste of money.

Not solid wood or good quality plywood. This is a cheap cheap cheap fiberboard with a veneer. To be honest, this will work. By the way, unlike true wood this will soak up oils front the paint so I highly recommend oiling-in the pallet several times prior to use.I would return this but I’m returning it would cost more that just buying a better quality pallet.

putting paint directly on the pallet was my first mistake it stained horribly and now when i add colors it seems the color that it’s stained with reactivates and mixes with my new color. wasteful purchase in my eyes

It's big, which is nice. But even the tiny amount of acrylic paint I used on it didn't come off while cleaning. Thanks for attention!

Nice and light weight and a decent size. Super happy with my purchase. It splintered a little where the hole is but I used some light sand paper to smooth it out and it was fine.

I love it, have to oil it up really good several times before you use it. It’s great for right handed people. Large area to mix paints.
