They are the same quality as the GRK screws. They are the same net strength. However, if you pre-drill the correct size drill and watch what you do (as you should anyway) they work very well for a lot less stars there are better screws but they cost a lot more money i got them installed in the closet with no problems, mainly for screwing the front frame.

We used these screws to secure the overlapping boards to a long wall, then sanded and varnished for a clean look. These bolts worked really well and allowed us to maximize the length of the board and we didn't have to worry too much about cutting to fit the bolts (like a drywall joint). Even a few screws in a cleat was enough for shorter boards and anything I could get with two cleats mounted easily up to 8 feet long. These screws work really well. I'm not one of those people to write reviews. But I thought they deserved it. I ordered them at the suggestion of the bird house plan. I wasn't sure about the tiny heads and using a screwdriver on them. The included beat was a nice touch. Very happy with how well they have held up. Built a bird house with my kids and let them practice a little screwing. Eventually we had some kind of buffing and I was sure I would have a streak, but no. it was good. I would advise
