Better quality than I expected. I painted them red.

Bought for a custom industrial ceiling mount project for my kitchen. In fact, I was very surprised by the quality of the lamp when I received it. They are very heavy. Basically they consist of 4 parts: a base that attaches to the ceiling or wall, an outlet that attaches to a base plate that attaches to the base, a glass bulb lid that screws into the base of the outlet, and a cage , which is attached to the drain. Simple Durable Dry and Easy to install

Has been working for a year and a half - no problems or complaints at all except for the mud catchers but not the plumbers fault right? And I didn't like that the seller only let me sell 1 at a time (although I only needed 1, I still didn't like it). I ordered several of these for my favorite project. The first 3 arrived in a box with other parts and they are perfect, ordered another one and it arrived with a chipped thread, Amazon sent a replacement and it also arrived with 2 chipped threads! PERFECT for my garage lighting project!

I have found that the price varies depending on who is selling and where you are buying them. Paid $17 for one and $13 for a second, exactly the same brand but from different sellers (I think). They are made of die-cast aluminum with suitable seals and are therefore explosion-proof. The glass ball is well made and the protective grille of the ball cap is heavy and well-proportioned. They attach to round 4 " electrical boxes, but the instructions don't explain how.

These are durable, high quality lights. I installed a couple of these on the ceiling of my garage because my kids are always throwing tennis balls and I wanted to protect the bare bulbs. I also really like the industrial look of these lamps. My only criticism is the instruction manual, which does not state that mounting to drywall ceilings and a standard 4" round electrical box requires removing the top of the light housing.
