Low design but GREAT clatter

Had to nail clips to fit both cars I've installed them on. Kubota tractor and Polaris Ranger. They're solidly made, but with no fonts or shims, so they'll rattle like crazy from engine vibration if not held tight while riding.

NOT suitable for modern tractors

Selling the same unit with the orange cover and calling it the Kubota. I saved a few bucks and bought the black one. Nothing fits in with a modern fat wheel. It would be good for an antique with a rubber coated steel wheel. I sent it back. I bought a Kubota brand bait, it's much cheaper at the dealer.

Put them on a couple of forklifts and they work great. The handle is in the center of the steering wheel ie

Install these on multiple forklifts and they will work great. The grip is in the center of the steering wheel so should last a long time. It is better to replace the steering wheel with a steering wheel with a handle. Update 12/20/16 Grips do not stand up to heavy use and are being replaced with OEM grips.

Didn't fit right

Fit this steering grip on a new John Deere tractor and it didn't fit right so currently it's securely attached to the steering wheel and safe to use but I don't like the way it is is looks. I'm keeping it on a tractor for now but will buy another brand as soon as I get a chance to look for it then I'll take this one off and mount it on a lawn mower or something with an x-small steering wheel. If you have normal size handlebars, it may not fit.

Will not fit JD handlebars

Clamp diameter will not fit JD GT handlebars. So the screws are not long enough. I spent an hour trying to find the hardware which luckily I had. Cheap zinc plated hardware instead of the proper cadmium finish you would expect from outdoor gear. Should have just bought it from the JD Store but figured it would work just as well. May work on other tractors with smaller DIA wheels but not JD GT series like 235, 315, 218.

Great item for steering accessory

I bought one a few years ago. Still works great. So I bought two more. One didn't work exactly, so I sent it back. The replacement came immediately (like the next day) and works perfectly. It must have been a strange coincidence for that. In any case, they are well made, rotate well and are securely fastened. I highly recommend it over cheaper alternatives (which I actually bought and regretted). You won't look back I'm so hooked these two are driving on the same steering wheel as my original…
