Great resource for beginners!

Nice bound book. Great for beginners especially (like me!) Explains the different types of needle felting and wool/fiber tools. This book covers just what it says - pets and little critters with a mermaid or two thrown in as an encore. There is no wallet pattern here :)! Many projects with highly detailed color images for every step of each project. Starts with simpler projects and progresses to small dolls at the end of the book. This book gave a beginner Fuller like me confidence - it gave me

This book is NOT for novice fullers

I was very disappointed with this book. If you are an experienced fuller this book might be great, but for someone who has only done a dozen or so animals it leaves a lot to be desired. must do. For example, the first project is a bumblebee. First you need to roll the wool into a ball, but the tubular shape is visible in the photo. If you look at the photo of the finished bee, it has antennae. There are no instructions on what to use for them. Ladybug is similar. What was used for the ladybug's

Pretty good primer for beginners

I've just started my first little needle felting project, chicken, and I needed help figuring out how to make the eyes and how to add the legs. I thought this book would help me to get through the completed project. That helped, but I went through the details I was looking for. This book has a good basic guide to materials: needles, foam rubber, types of wool fibers that are best for needle felting.
