These are excellent headphones for traditional transcription

These are excellent headphones for traditional transcription. They sit under the chin and do not irritate the external auditory canal like in-ear headphones and do not press on the outer edge of the ear or the temples of the glasses like on-ear headphones. The volume control on the cable also helps a lot! I like fabric covered cables as they are less prone to tearing and more likely to withstand prolonged use.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Exactly what I needed.

I've tried quite a few headphones and in-ear headphones in my job. You are perfect. So perfect that I bought a second one for my office. The sound quality is very crisp and clear for voice recordings. I don't use it for music so I don't know how they sound with music. They are very comfortable and I like the long cord. I can roll my chair from my desktop computer to my desk without detaching it when I need something off my desk. We recommend.

Pros
  • Broad spectrum
Cons
  • Okay for the most part, but...

The best headset I've ever had!

I've been a medical transcriptionist for 35 years and this is the best headset I've ever owned. The ear piece is very comfortable and has several additional covers. I love the fact that the cord feels like fabric and doesn't snag on things. It's also at least double the length of my old headset for those moments when I forget I'm wearing it and try to get away from the computer. Now I find out before they get out of my ears so I can stop in time and take them off! There's also a little clip on…

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Reliable

Great for transcription and more!

I bought these because I do a lot of transcription and my old ones were starting to fail. I quickly switched to this pair as it's my favorite, the sound quality is great, and they're comfortable (a big plus after listening to a boring transcription for many hours). Friends came to visit and one of the kids tried to finish an online course. He forgot his headphones and was having trouble concentrating on everything that was going on around him, so he asked if I had headphones. I know he was…

Very comfortable

I wear the headset more than 8 hours a day so comfort is a must but clarity is a priority. This is the best replacement I've found since Sony discontinued the MDR-U10M about 10 years ago. It's very, very comfortable and the sound is very clear. I could do without the built-in volume/stereo/mono controls. My computer has these settings so I don't need duplication and rarely, if ever, need to turn the volume up/down. When I need to change the volume, it's more convenient to do it from the…
