Description of The Ultimate Dual-Action Potato Masher and Ricer: 18/8 Stainless Steel Wonder

The World’s Greatest Dual-Action Potato Masher Ricer mashes and rices potatoes in a single action for smoother, creamier textures without the lumps. Made from 18/8 stainless steel; will never rust; more efficient than using a typical open-wire masher. Great for softer cooked foods, like potatoes, yams, pumpkin, squash, rutabagas, parsnips, chicken livers, hard-boiled eggs, even homemade baby food. Wires break cooked foods down while the built-in disk breaks up lumps for creamier texture; simply mash until desired consistency is achieved. Easy to use and clean; rinse immediately before starches harden; dishwasher safe for thorough cleaning

Best potato masher ever, best in the kitchen and dining room

I hate lumpy potatoes and have bought 2 different mashers before but this is the only one that comes out 'mashed' with no lumps. It was also very easy to use and pureed and rice at the same time leaving them smooth. I would never use anything else.

Good crush but difficult to clean

Nice crush, I use it for my mashed potatoes. You need to add milk or sour cream for the pusher to really work and for the potatoes to come out through the small holes. It's quite difficult to clean and I had to use the tip to get into all the little holes and crevices.

Pros
  • This is amazing

My favorite pounder!

I told my husband I want a crush for his birthday. I'm tired of using a fork. but I had certain requirements. I wanted a flat look, not an S-shape. He found it and it's the best of both presses! It kneads really well with the S tamper, but with a flat tamper you get a double flat mash! The spring is a lot of fun (I won't say we had fun sliding it up and down, but we may have) and works great. It was the perfect birthday gift!

  • Decent performance
