Make sure it fits your controller

This is for the latest PS4 controllers. I didn't know how to tell them apart, the ones with the light bar on the touchpad. I tried it on 3 I had that were older so obviously it didn't fit. Therefore, my rating only refers to plastic. I love that it comes with all the buttons and a shell but the quality doesn't seem great but for the price I think it's a good deal.

Some Modifications Required

Purchased for the back panel as part of a DIY Death Stranding Edition controller. Was impressed that the rear shell has the same uneven texture as the original. Make sure it fits the CUH-ZCT2 model. Comparing it to the original Sony case revealed some differences that prevented me from fitting the front (sold separately) clear yellow case to the back until I cut off some of the internal plastic studs near the lightbar.

A nice changeable skin that makes your controller a little different from everyone else.

Seems to fit my case, no visible mold wrap, case body has a matte front and a textured back, similar to Sony OEM controllers. I just used the included font and back cover and kept my original buttons, analog sticks, triggers and touchpad so I can't comment on these articles. It's a little tricky to swap out the case that houses the board, triggers, analog sticks, and vibration motors as the analog sticks can get stuck. Just set them to slide. Also, if you are following the step-by-step videoโ€ฆ
