Perfect fit and length - not too big, not too long and not too short for my growing boy. He was so excited to wear them - it's hard to find decent Husky-sized shorts in a store. These shorts are amazing. Also, they have lots of pockets!

I deducted 2 stars because the shorts are not made from real denim but fine cotton. And I have to wonder how long they last before holes appear. I've bought many Wranglers over the years so I've been surprised and disappointed.

My son is almost 10 years old and weighs 69 pounds. He is thin and of average height. These shorts are well made, but the leg slits don't taper to the hem, making his legs look like toothpicks sticking out of a bucket. I was hoping they would shrink a lot after washing, but that didn't happen. We keep them because I washed and dried them.
