Good but too short good for me

I had to return the item. If your cap has been replaced and was not torqued it probably would work well. If you bike has never had the cap removed, they are installed at 10nm which converts to 90 inch lbs of torque. The wrench is not thick enough or long enough to apply that much torque. My guess is the reviews that show it broke probably used a hammer to tap it or something to try and add leverage. I socket or longer tool would work better. I found a design online for a 3D printer socket and…

Pros
  • ‎Aluminum
Cons
  • Low Versatility

Worked great on my review.

I used this tool to complete a fork service on my daughters RST Jr equipped Cannondale. It fit the caps perfectly and allowed me to remove them and service the fork without damage .

Pros
  • Designed for removal and installation for top cap of Suntour XCM XCR XCT RST
Cons
  • Complicated Process: The process of using the tool can be complicated and requires some level of prior knowledge about bike mechanics, making it tricky for beginners

Great tool. Earned a permanent place in my toolbox

Worked perfectly. My suntour xcr damper / lockout cartridge kind of died. I found a used XCM cartridge on offerup. With the assistance of his tool, I had everything switched and sorted out inside a 15 minutes. That included cleaning and lubing. DO NOT try to remove the cap without this tool!

Pros
  • Excellent productGood quality
Cons
  • Poor Quality: The tool is made of cheap materials that are prone to wear and tear over time, which means it won't last for long

Works for my SR shocks

Bought this to be able to take apart and rebuild my front fork. Works great. Was able to remove the top and take it apart to clean and put it all back together, and no extra parts. This thing is handy and should last a long time.

Pros
  • Used this for bicycle repair, and it worked exactly as described.
Cons
  • It broke easily. Ended up buying a tool from a local shop.:(

Very nice quality wrench….

As a wrench, it works perfectly. The quality is nice and the blue makes it easy to find among my tools. The price under $10 is a very good deal.

Pros
  • The aluminum is sturdy and meshes alright with the fork caps, making removal and install easy.
Cons
  • The wrench spanner tool only works with a specific set of suspension forks, making it virtually useless for individuals who own other types of forks

Too tight for RST Gila T7

This wrench lists RST as compatible and has the 8-sided head that looks like it would work. However, it is very tight it is hard to get it onto the plastic heads and it is frustrating because you have to struggle after every turn to reposition the wrench. I was able to tighten the heads after I disassembled and reassembled the fork, but this is not like any other wrench which fits properly - closely but not incredibly tight. This wrench is too tight.

Pros
  • Sports
Cons
  • Limited Durability: The tool's durability is questionable, as it may malfunction or become defective after only a few uses
