Excellent set of knives. The wooden box is great. The plastic inserts they use to hold the blades HAVE BIG CHIPS. Bought two of these, one for me and one for my brother in law. We both came to the same conclusion with a blade holder with a plastic insert (that sucks big). I only bought it because of its X-ACTO name. They were and are at the top. First of all, I've always used X-Acto knives and blades when creating various plastic and wooden model designs. Some of my pens are over 40 years old. I wanted this set because I like having a box to keep things organized. The delivery was on time and the packaging was good. The shipping box was not damaged in any way. I had high hopes for this set, it looks very nice and seems to contain a useful set of items. But that's where it all ends. The blades are okay and the handles feel strong, but that's about it. I would say one star is generous and far from what I was expecting given the price. - A box made of cheap MDF. - Some genius came up with the idea of gluing the top insert AFTER it's wrapped in plastic.
