Superb Combined Alarm

I got these alarms for rent. I was happy to find a combined system that included smoke and carbon monoxide detection. I also like the 10 year battery life. I'm glad I found them on Revain at a reasonable price.

Pros
  • Nice Packaging
Cons
  • Secret

If you need interconnected detectors, this is for you!

Easy to install, a bit fiddly to set up but in the end they managed to get everyone talking. Once set up, you're in business. Just be patient and follow the instructions.

Cons
  • Good but not great

Perfect wireless connection!

Easy to install and connect together. Bought an X-Series smoke/carbon monoxide alarm and smoke alarm. Everything is very well connected. Works well. time and money saved. Fixed-wire multi-family smoke alarms cost $8,000 for two buildings. I only spend $1200 and install it myself. It works fine. Fire safety certificate obtained.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Nothing

Love it! on Safety & Security

I have to say I love these CO combo smoke alarms. I first bought a set of three which I was happy with and then bought three more to expand my range. The second set is simply connected to the first set according to the enclosed instructions. I had an issue with one detector not turning off during testing, but one click turned it off. The photoelectric and CO sensors make me feel completely safe because if something happens we are warned and we can go to a safe place.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Has flaws

Without a voice, those detectors are a bad idea.

These smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) detectors are networked so that an alarm sounds if one of them is triggered. However, unlike some of these detectors, they don't have a voice alarm component to let you know the location of the triggering event. Not only that, they don't have a voice to tell you if the triggering event is smoke or carbon monoxide. Instead, the blinking of an LED is the only indicator of smoke versus carbon monoxide, and you just need to remember which one. Blink patterns…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Suitable for
