Due to the confusing reviews I was not sure I would spend money on this product. Well this works great for me. Someone wrote that there are no instructions - I'm just looking at the picture. Others said that it had a weak wire - the husband does not jump when his hair is cut. Yes the plastic is flimsy - if it breaks use tape. I bought this for my ten year old to wear when I cut his hair and it has made things a lot less awkward! This is great for catching hair as I use electric clippers which speeds things up because I'm not constantly trying to keep the hair from falling on the floor. When we're done I just lift it back over my son's head (being careful not to tip it over or spill it) and take it outside to shake his hair out.
