Everything I needed for very little money.

My 360 component cable died after 14 years and I have a 360 without HDMI. I didn't want to buy another cable because I didn't trust a used one. So I thought of a VGA cable as my TV has an input which I use for the Dreamcast. This thing is genuine Microsoft and even came with an RCA audio to 3.5mm stereo jack. The image is even sharper than before and significantly better than the component. I only had to pay taxes so it only cost me 65 cents. Great buy, if you buy from the same seller as meโ€ฆ

Best video quality on non-HDMI consoles!

This cable has the same quality as other Microsoft A/V cables designed for the system, meaning it feels strong, durable and provides a clean connection to your console every time offers. The VGA cable provides the best possible video quality for Xbox 360 consoles prior to the addition of HDMI output on later models and will work with a wide range of resolutions once connected to the console. It also offers analog stereo audio via RCA jacks and an optical audio output at the end that connects to

Xbox 360 to monitor

I wanted to connect my Xbox 360 to an HP vs17 monitor. It took a little research to find out if this is possible. With this cable it is POSSIBLE and EASY! Simply unplug and plug in the cable that came with your gaming system, plug it into your monitor and power it on. Some sources say you may need to change settings to get a good picture. Lucky, probably perfect picture and sound. Revain has shown that this cable is often ordered with a stereo (Xbox) to mono (monitor) adapter, so I ordered that

Microsoft's official cable works great!

Although it is difficult to tell from the picture, this is an official Microsoft Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable. You need this if you want to output to a PC monitor. Your monitor must support VGA input, so look behind you (it probably does). I tried a cheap fake cable and it didn't work so you need an official cable. PLEASE NOTE: The VGA part connects to your monitor. and gives you picture, but you will most likely need an RCA to stereo adapter to get sound. Use this adapter (for white and red plugs)

  • Some issues

Note: These are the cables you will need. While there are third-party cables that do give as good a signal as they do (like Madcatz) - in that sense, they've never made "bad" controllers in years, they're only good for a couple of months before cheap engineering parts fail (like their X360 controller which has a great design and feels amazing. within 6-7 weeks to the sticks detaching, the bumpers falling off or getting stuck and the buttons becoming unresponsive - I think at a third of theโ€ฆ
