Xbox 360 Wireless Halo Spartan Controller Review

My 12 year old got this for his birthday and he loves it. This is a great wireless controller that doesn't freeze or lag like some of its other controllers.

I bought this controller in 2005 for my son's birthday. He uses it all the time and we have never had any problems with the product. The design hasn't faded, the joystick and buttons still work great.

The graphics looked sharp but I'm very impressed that it has survived several years of normal gaming without losing its luster. They still look almost new. And I have to admit that these controllers fit my hands a lot better than the size of the PS3 controllers.

Best Christmas gift for my 11 year old son. He felt like a prince. It works great and the color scheme just blew it away. I don't have to worry about him confusing it with his friends' controllers. Its controller stands out from the crowd! I will be buying another one next Christmas or for any gift.

As soon as my son unwrapped his Christmas present, he immediately stopped playing with all other toys and started playing the game system on his new controller. He was so happy he had his own. After several hundred falls, the controller still works well. I am not only impressed by the workmanship, but also by the design. From time to time I catch my son just staring at the controller image in amazement. I think there should be more models like this on the market.

When it comes to Xbox 360 controllers, there is no controller quite as attractive as these Halo 3 controllers drawn by Todd McFarlin. The controller's glossy, smooth finish is a delight, and the sticks (when new) fit snugly and precisely as long as the controller isn't abused. And by abuse, I mean anything other than a freight train falling on top of him (my fiancé's brother-in-law fell off his chair and landed his butt on him and was unharmed). Halo 3's Spartan controller is definitely a good buy. If I had another opportunity to buy one, I would buy one. The controller itself is no different than a regular Xbox 360 controller, with the small exception that the surface is smooth with a nice sticker. The controller feels better than other 360 controllers (I have 2 wired, 1 wireless white, 1 wireless green and both Halo 3 limited edition controllers).
