Xcel Infiniti Split Boots Black Review

They are good for surfing but the sole isn't as thick as I need. My kitesurf spot is full of sea urchins so I bought these boots to avoid spikes but the soles are very thin and offer little protection. I doubt they will help much even on a sharp reef. I'm sticking with O'Neil Super Freaks.

I am a US size 7.5 and bought size 7 boots. I bought it for windsurfing in the fall. It's a very thin sole, thick enough not to cut yourself on sharp rocks and shellfish. It's extremely flexible and lightweight, giving it great boardfeel and slipping in and out of the straps. It keeps your feet warm when the water gets cold and even has a couple of holes on each side to drain the water which is a nice surprise. The straps work well and don't bother at all.
