Excellent unit. I have already told my friends about it and they are planning to buy it and use it for their game consoles as most new TVs don't have RCA connectors only HDMI connectors.

I needed to connect an old VHS/DVD player to the HDMI output. This device worked pretty well. The TV picture was good. I had an issue connecting it to the HDMI switch board, but it could be the switch itself. In general a good product.

works well with Huppauge DVR for gameplay recording, unlike the Etekcity Mini AV "AV/RCA/CVBS to HDMI" converter at [http://www.amazon. com/gp/ product/B00HY8IYJU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 ] does not work for the same purpose, if you are trying to capture the output from older consoles with composite output this helps

It doesn't suit me very well. If I unplug all the cables and plug them back in, I SOMETIMES get a signal through that little white box. The blue light is pretty nice when the power is plugged in and I was really impressed with the packaging it came in (it closes on the MAGNET! How cool is that?) but to be honest the device doesn't work satisfactory. .

Not sure if this converter is defective or not as described. Conversion from DVD player and VCR to 1080p monitor (all NTSC) does not work. It says "AV to HDMI converter" but maybe only PAL input and/or output? A clearer and more accurate description is needed. Otherwise they feel sturdy and well built, unlike other devices that look the same but are branded differently.

I needed a way to convert the output from my satellite dish (secondary signal via coaxial cable) to an HDMI output and this fitted perfectly.
