Xerox 106R02775 Standard Cartridge WorkCentre Review

This toner was purchased for use with the Xerox WorkCentre 3215/NI Monochrome Multifunction Printer. THAT DOES NOT WORK. The toner is advertised to work with this machine. The seller wants us to pay for restocking fees and return shipping. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.

This is my second purchase of the exact same model; got four years use from the first. the drum needs to be replaced; I got a new printer for €20. I'm happy when I get the same benefit. For a small home office or small business, it has everything you need with minimal fuss - unpack, add the included cartridge, add paper; To press.

I don't know what's wrong with these cartridges! I "guess" the one that came with the printer was a lower capacity "first" cartridge, but the one I bought here only had 787 pages and it wasn't heavy images by any means, just text. I am ordering more and really hoping to get closer to the stated 1500 pages! My HP color printer has always printed almost the recommended number of pages before needing to replace a cartridge.

I've learned to be wary of third party vendors when it comes to things like laser cartridges. I don't print often and it's easy to keep track of my print jobs. This cartridge didn't even make it to 500 copies when it was advertised as a 1500. I bought them from Revain because the price was good, but after that experience I learned to buy direct from reputable stores looking for clearance. Since the cartridges are recyclable, it is not known how much toner they contain.

After an hour's call to XEROX Technical Support, I, not them, found out why my original cartridge was printing duplicates and triplets the first time. Page with single and random multi-page prints. The Xerox 3215 has a software bug that starts printing a page too soon after the printer wakes up from sleep mode. This printer, and possibly other printers, will go to sleep almost immediately after printing a page. After waking up, it takes five to ten seconds for the fuser to warm up…
