I have so many Ethernet wires running from my bedroom to my living room and needed to secure them. I decided to try this tape based on the product details. It was exactly what I needed. The best feature is that it doesn’t damage my rug when I have to pull it up to rearrange the wires. When I put the tape down I found it necessary to "rub” along it’s length to get good adhesion, but once it stuck I had no problems. XFasten is terrible tape. Not as advertised. Had to tape down 50 feet of wire for 4 days. Barely held for a session and was half off by the next day, Always had to press it back on.
