It DOES have adhesive

When I first got a piece of tubing out of the case, I would have sworn to you that it wasn't adhesive heat shrink tubing. But I did a test and you can see the adhesive oozing out of both ends after heating. You can't see the adhesive in the tube before heating as you can apparently with some other tubes, but rest assured if you want adhesive heat shrink tubing, you are safe ordering this.

Pros
  • Worked great
Cons
  • Adhesive may melt or outgas under high temperatures

Works great! in my review

I used some of these on my Ford Explorer to do some wiring underneath the hood. They definitely have a glue on the inside that once you begin heating the material you can see the glue come out the ends. Should last a long time.

Pros
  • small electrical connections exposed to weather and dirt well protected and easy to visually align
Cons
  • Adhesive may interfere with soldering

Works as expected for my opinion

I bought these to be put onto wires that may be subjected to water under the hood of vehicles. You can visibly see the where the seal forms. Works very well.

Pros
  • As Advertised
Cons
  • May not fully cure in wet or humid conditions

Works as expected. definitely epoxy lined

Not really sure how I am supposed to give stars on "warmth" for an item with no heat source haha. These are as advertised. Great set for general purpose needs. Epoxy lined as best as I could tell. Didn't always see a little bit come out the bottom but saw it enough to trust it.

Pros
  • Next day the box was there, with the product as expected.
Cons
  • Can be more expensive than other tubing options

impressive on my review.

I hesitated before i bought these, due to the price, but all the five star reviews persuaded me. I was so glad I chose these after using them, they are manifestly superior even to the nice ones I previously purchased. These soften and grip very smoothly easily firmly. Thank you fellow Best Buy reviewers!

Pros
  • I have used this heat shrink with some wiring projects on my kayak. Works great for wet conditions.
Cons
  • May not fully protect against vibration damage

Take them or leave them.

These are definitely not 3:1 shrink ratio. I'd be hard pressed if they were 2:1. All in all they did the job and the price is right

Pros
  • This is a good selection but to many of the 3/32 size. I now have enough 3/32 to fill a box up :)
Cons
  • May not fit snugly around irregularly shaped objects

Fixed my iPhone lightning cable

Lots of choices, easy to use. I purchased these to repair and iPhone lightning cable and it worked like a charm. It was an easy 5-minute fix.

Pros
  • Got this to use in repairing shoelaces - works great!
Cons
  • Can be difficult to remove once installed

Does the job on my review.

I bought a boat that was wired with standard fittings (no heat shrink). Instead of cutting off all connectors, and putting new ones on, I took the new tubing and slit it so I could then just put it over the wire and base of the fitting. A little heat and it sealed perfectly. Saved a lot of time.

Pros
  • Excellent quality and works perfect, has extra strong glue inside that activate when hot gun
Cons
  • Adhesive may attract insects or small animals

Worked well for me in the past.

I have had experience with this product when I used to have to do repairs on the electrical systems on my sailboat. This recent purchase is because I am rebuilding a 1971 VW Beetle and a lot of the wiring is exposed. My plan is to see how well it works for the wiring that I know will be damp or exposed to the elements.

Pros
  • I used this for my winch hook up on my rhino 700 . Seels tight, works right. Sweet!
Cons
  • Adhesive may gather dust or debris over time

It's good quality heat shrink

The heat shrink is good quality, at a pretty good price. It provides a good amount of heat shrink to suit the sizes of wires most commonly used. I bought one, and came back to buy more because it's good.

Pros
  • I used these to replace shoelace aglets on a pair of sorel boots. Looks good as new...great product.
Cons
  • Adhesive may become brittle over time

pretty good overall

not sure if these really hit the 3:1 as in the comments, seems more like 2:1. Would have thought the package to be a bit more organized for sizes, but it seems like they cram everything in there. Could not say if any are "missing" nor can I really quickly tell the sizes apart, but overall its fine.

Pros
  • It’s great that it’s clear and has inside adhesive to hold it on.
Cons
  • Can take longer to install than other tubing options
