Ideal for low temperature glue gun

Works great but requires a low temperature glue gun for gluing. If you use a high temperature gun the wax will overheat and the stamps won't come out (learn from my failure). If you're desperate, you CAN do this in a high heat gun (I have been and I have), just warm work it until it's so hot the glue starts bubbling and smelling, then turn off the gun , wait a few minutes and use the weapon again while it is off and cool. Also, be prepared to use a whole pack of clear glue after using it to…

Excellent sealing wax, works great in a low temp hot glue gun

The wax itself is very pretty, in my case I chose purple which gave a lovely dark purple with a slight hint of swirly texture. , creating a super stylish effect on the cover. They come in glue gun compatible sticks, if you have a *low temp* glue gun (or a glue gun with a low temp setting) then this is by far the easiest and quickest way to apply sealing wax. With most glue guns, a full pull of the trigger is enough to seal, so just spray, press the seal, let cool, and you're done. (Be sure to…

Not exactly wax but: Glues

Very similar to what the description says "you can use a special gun to melt them" they are more like a glue stick in consistency. It's actually not wax. Although I think it's common now. They still work, but behave a little differently than the sealing wax you may be used to. I wouldn't recommend melting the stick directly on an open fire, but melting it in something, in a spoon or in one of the special melting bowls. On the plus side, they are slightly more durable and flexible than…

A rich, glossy wax that is easy to use.

This was my first experience with sealing wax that works in a glue gun. I started using wax seals to make standard mail special about six months ago. In a technology-driven world, I love the feel and attention of "real” mail. I started with wax sticks, where you light a wick and then drip the wax onto the envelope. They were tricky and messy, and I later learned that the wax for them often broke in the mail. I was hesitant to try the sealing wax for the glue gun because it seemed like a…
