The underside of the lampshade has some imperfections like globs of glue but it is quite minor. It wasn't too difficult to install, it was logical, but the written instructions didn't help much (there were so many options it was basically useless).

This is a beautiful and elegant lamp, but the instructions on the packaging say you can't use LEDs, but according to Revain you can. It's a grammatical error and a fragmented sentence that made us return the LED and then go back to get it after reading Revane's description. See photo.

I finally got around to replacing 3 lights with these. My wife and I love the design and how bright and fresh they look. Previous fixtures required a different type of lamp base. With them we can use new LED bulbs. WOW! Doesn't matter. The installation was also very easy and uncomplicated.

I received this lantern a few weeks ago, just unpacked it for installation after removing the old lantern and found the top of the outer lampshade was damaged. It appears the lightweight outer fabric is attached to the rings with very thin tape and this one hasn't been attached properly. It would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the poor Chinese quality.

I was hesitant because there were no reviews and what turned out to be the same light is available at Home Depot for $99 so I thought it might be of lower quality because the price was much less than the HD. I was wrong. This lamp is strong and beautiful. I cut a great figure over the table in our "breakfast corner”. There is also a lot of light. I love it.

I bought 2 of these, the first was great and good value, the second has a large glue stain on the fabric seam making me the hassle of returning it. ****UPDATE: I emailed the manufacturer and they quickly (less than a week after initial email contact) sent me a brand new light AND didn't have to bother returning the old one. This is how all businesses should behave online. I would definitely buy from them again. I donated the bulb to a local charity, packaged in the same box the replacement came
