Useless Junk for Car Electronics

Using this product, our team found that it failed to provide any sort of power conversion accurately. The product was expensive and did not deliver on its promises.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Expensive, unreliable

Works well. 3W consumption in standby mode by the fan.

The power supply seems to work as advertised. The only thing that bothers me is that the fan is always on, so the power consumption in standby is around 3W (24V at 0.15A). I would be happier if the fan was on a temp sensor and only turned on when needed to reduce idle boost.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • I will add later

Died in minutes

First, the wires are very short for work. 5 inches. Assuming you're going to integrate it into some sort of battery system that doesn't offer a lot of workspace without soldering your own wires. Mine initially worked and showed 12.5V output, but when I went to check everything with the inverter, the LED went out and the voltage dropped to 0. The fans are still running. I checked all the cable connections and the tester said they were fine, but I basically spent $50 on them. I would recommend…

Pros
  • Built-in full input protection against over/under voltage, overload, overheating and short circuit
Cons
  • Piggy bank price
