Excellent quality - internal power supplies

I am using this product as a 12VDC power source for my computer's cooling system. I have 6 fans (2 different sizes), an on/off switch and two fuser units. He has proven himself extremely well.

Works, but quite noisy.

Works but very noisy. The fan runs continuously even when the LEDs are off (almost zero power consumption). I have it in a cupboard under the lower kitchen cupboard, but it's loud enough to be annoying. I will replace it with an alternative non-fan product.

EMI filtering is not suitable for use in radio equipment.

We look forward to your arrival. Put the tips on the cables and connect the PS. to my radio. Noticed an increase in noise level on the S-Meter. Connected to the battery and the noise level dropped significantly. I have NOT tried using ferrite beads or capacitors to limit the conducted noise that appears in the radio power cable. But it will be done. The specifications clearly state that electromagnetic interference (EMI) has been filtered out. This is FCC Part 15 or Chinese specifications. If…

Why was the voltage switch covered?

I received the device and was happy to use it as a replacement for my old device. I kept looking for the voltage selector to select the correct voltage and was able to find it everywhere. I assumed it was an automatic voltage sensor. Unfortunately I connected it to 220 volts and the device burned out! Only later did I discover that the voltage switch had a yellow sticker stuck over it. Why? Why wasn't there anything in the document? money down the drain.

Good PSU - not suitable for HF ham

This is a good value PSU. Works perfectly. However, it generates a lot of RF interference on the HF frequencies used by amateur radio. The interference was so strong at 40 meters that I couldn't copy the signals. Suitable for VHF and UHF. I use it to power the stand.

Works great so far with computers and accessories

So far so good. I have a small, cheap Peltier fridge that I bought for a homemade car cooler that works. I was planning on checking the voltage before using it to make sure everything was fine, but I need a new multimeter. I'll try to update later once I do more with it.
