This helmet is excellent quality, matte neon green, just like the picture. My son is 4 years old but he has quite a big head! This helmet fits him perfectly and is easily adjustable both on the straps and on the back. Works perfectly!

My son likes wearing it because he can play with it on his bike. It should be comfortable enough because he doesn't complain about being on it. The matte finish takes permanent markers for embellishments well and doesn't smudge.

We didn't wear helmets as kids. It appears to be well made and fits well. I like that it's adjustable. I don't know if it's comfortable or not as it's for a child and doesn't fit me. The only criticism is that the back pad keeps falling out. It attaches with two small Velcro straps, so be careful not to lose it.

I don't normally write reviews on Amazon purchases, but as a dad I feel like I should let other people know. When we first walked the helmet, it broke, and not even from an accident. I literally dropped the helmet on the grass while holding it in my hand. He couldn't fall more than 4 feet onto the grass, and the back plastic piece that attaches the chin strap to the helmet broke in half. It's hard to imagine how such a helmet would survive a real fall.

When we first received this helmet I thought this helmet was great my 2 year old son loved it it fit his head and I thought he would work well for years as he could adapt even more. Today I noticed that the strap holding the adjuster and rear straps to the helmet is torn, the plastic is just torn.
