Not as big as I was hoping, but great for frequent access!

I found it wasn't big enough for my iPhone XR. but that's ok, I have another mount for it and will only use it as a backup if it rains etc. Other than that I like it! I've found that I can sling on a small bottle of sunscreen spray, my base salts, small snacks, etc. and have quick access to them when needed (especially base salts, which I do every 10 miles or so). long trips, which is nice). No need to stop or fumble in your back pockets for this!). I had no trouble opening/closing while…

Perfect size and stays in place

Updated 6/6/19. Used a Dirty Kanza 200 bag and worked great. On a very bumpy track I stayed in place with no problems. I recommend this bag without hesitation. Not big, not small, just right for me. I searched for a long time until I finally decided on this top bag. The bag does what I expect. Packed with 7 gels and 4 fig bars for my trip (could probably fit another gel or two). The bag stayed in place with no movement during my first 150-mile ride with the bag on gravel and paved roads. The…

I wouldn't call it very big though.

I would say 10 gels fit in this bag. It's not a good case for a phone larger than maybe the iPhone 5S, as the curved shape doesn't allow for a zipper. I make my own wearable products from the Feed Zone cookbook and can only fit 2 boxed pieces (3 x 4 x 1 each) side by side plus 2 or 3 gels as the bag is very thin and on most bikes not much wider than that top tube is. The zip works great, it's very easy to open and close on the go, but if you forget to zip it back up you can lose some things…

Best Top Tube Bag

I'm a cyclist who rides about 80 miles on weekends and competes in sprint and half ironman triathlons. So I spend a lot of time cycling. This bag is by far the best I have ever had on a bike and I cannot recommend it highly enough. There's nothing wrong with her. The good thing is: It's big: I can easily fit an iPhone in an Otter Box along with about 4 or 5 Gels and 2 Clif Shot Blocks. I could probably stuff more in. If I was racing I wouldn't have a phone in it so I could easily add 4 more…
