🚗 Universal XM PowerConnect Car Kit Dock Cradle for Xpress EZ, R, RC, and Mirage Review

I already had a power plug and extra antenna. All I needed was to be able to leave everything plugged in and easily move the Sirius/XM from car to car. works perfectly.

Works great with my Onyx Plus SiriusXM radio. I have the original that came with the radio in the car and this is what I put on the bike. I fixed it with a frame mount and it's very solid. I ordered an extra to take with me to use in rental cars, other people's cars, etc.

Ideal for combining with the XM Satellite Radio Universal Vent Mount. One comment on this point concerns the snapping of the vent mount. The hooks on the vent mount are not square. They are inserted into this element in one direction and can easily slip. I taped the mounts to keep them intact so this block could stay in the perfect position as well. Also, first fix the wires in this block before installation. It's a little easier.

I replaced Delphi Sky 2 with Onyx Plus. I had 4 Delphi stands in different locations and was worried I might have to buy 4 new Onyx kits. All three cables (power, antenna, audio) to the Delphi stand are identical to this new stand. I can use existing connections, same voltage, same antenna, same audio output that worked with Delphi. I'll just take this new cradle with me when I travel and I don't have to buy any additional gear. Thanks to SiriusXM for keeping all inputs the same.

Bought to replace a 10 year old stand for my Audiovox Xpress. Fits well. For what it is I lower that Review because of the price and concerns about the design of the antenna connector. In my old unit the connector is internal. It is open. A number of reviewers have noticed this design issue. Time will tell. I also didn't pay attention to a different power plug and ordered one new version, with luck it works the same as my old one (has developed a problem with connecting to the network).

Ideal for Onyx. My wife wanted to use her XM radio indoors, but I didn't want to pay $275 for an XM kit. I installed it on an acrylic base, hooked up some old computer speakers to it, bought a window antenna and hooked up an old 5 volt adjustable wall wart to it. Bought to replace the original. Where the antenna connects to the mount, the connection seemed weak and I kept losing signal. The new one worked great on day one with no signal loss. After that, the signal loss was permanent. I can't decide if the problem is a loose antenna connector or a bad/poor connection of the pins on the stand itself.
