Nice heatsink, minus 1 star for the open return wear.

Good for the price of a dummy load with two 250w resistors that I have. The ribbon on the box was torn and frayed, not a problem for me, but I took a star off because of that and it might be a problem for some buyers. For the price I would buy another one.

Ideal for my application

This heatsink was used to solve an overheating problem with a 24/7 cellular modem. I chose this one because it fits the size of the battery perfectly. It is attached with double-sided thermal tape. Now I have no problems with shutdown due to overheating. The cellular modem was: MF975U-UNITE-3 Hotspot (from mifis.us) and I put through 100GB every month.

Best heat dissipation from fans and cooling

I have a Thunderbolt 3 computer dock that runs 24/7 and feels very warm to the touch. The case is metallic and radiates heat. I bought this radiator to extract heat from it. The heatsink sits upside down on my desk and the docking station's metal case rests on top of it. The top of the dock feels noticeably cooler since I've added it to the mix. The ribs are cut deep into the aluminum. The distance between them is small, but acceptable. For less than $10 it solved my problem.
