I accidentally snapped off the connector on my flashlight and found this. Decided to give it a try. Found it to be higher quality than the original and was easy to install.

I'm not sure I'm doing something wrong (although the wiring is fairly simple) but I connect the + and - together and the light works fine. The moment I connect the pattern select wires to each other and then to the + wire, I can't switch between patterns and the light turns itself off. We are very grateful for every contribution.

Pattern Switch Doesn't Work It took some time and money to connect these wires together only to find out the pattern switch didn't work. Very disappointed that the switch works but it doesn't help me when I've spent 300 on a Whelen pattern light strip and can't even use it and I know I wired it right it's very hard to use it to screw up if the wires are color coded

Excellent quality product. The plastic is strong and can be taken apart and soldered. Matching cable included. The included glass busbar fuse may need to be retrofitted. The red and black wires supply power, but the currently switched yellow wire goes through ground. All of my lighting systems require an instantaneous voltage to switch cycles.
