Our dog ran loose and has frost bite.so i ordered healing cream and these boots to use while she heals up. I habe purchased many dog shoes for my old lady shephard who drags her hind legs. Most shoes come off too easily when dragged, As these are higher with two staps they stay on better. Some shoes wear better than these due to the material not being meant to protect the top from dragging, but these are decent. Overall i have found them to be the best option for me. For people looking for a waterproof boot, this isnt them. Definitely get wet, but have some resistant qualities.

I am blind and bought these winter weight boots for my guide dog. He is a yellow lab about 70 pounds and I bought the extra large and they have plenty of room but not too big. The booties are very cute and the sizing was accurate—we ordered an XL for our 80lb German Shepherd. However, they are not water resistant at all. I bought them for my dog who loves the snow and will stay outside in spite of cold feet. I let him out for a couple minutes to test his new boots and he came in and they were soaked through. Tried multiple other types of paw protection and either they wouldn’t stay on or they snagged on the dog’s claws, etc. these are perfecto as exist I do believe. Once in a while one will come off or slide to dog tripping over the flipped sole but that’s application error. All paw protection take practice to apply properly.

They are very easy to put on and the process doesn’t hurt my dog. I would recommend making sure you keep your dogs nails trimmed so they don’t get shoved in the boots and hurt your dog. They stay on pretty well, I haven’t taken my dog out in the snow with them yet because he is still getting use too walking in them.

Ordered the XXL based on measurements. Unfortunately it's a no go.The pad size is correct size but attempting to get a paw into the boot is an absolute challenge the way the slit opening is designed in the front. We were hoping this was the answer to a boot that could prevent the pads from getting cut on jagged edges of ice while on daily walks. The quality is absolutely 💯 great. I would rate these an A- due to above mentioned.

Seem very sturdy for the snow and Ice in Minnesota!My dog is about 90 lbs and the XL have plenty of room for his big paws. They work better on his back two paws but the front seem to slip off while running. Other than that they work well for us!

If I were to create a dog bootie, this would be it. I just can't give it 5 stars bc, it's just not tall enough to cover the dew claws. My German Shepherd broke his leg and was in a cast for an extended time. It was awful trying to keep the foot end of cast dry until I found these great booties. They go on easily. He doesn't resist it like he did the plastic sack, the boot stays on and gives him extra traction with the great rubber sole. I had to extend the straps with elastic insert to reach around the cast, but that was easy. So glad I found these.

These are well made and super cute but we struggled way too much to get these on my dogs paws. Even after we got them on, his paws never really seemed to sit inside them fully/properly. They were returned.

These dog booties stayed on better than any other brand. That’s not saying they always stay on, but they stay on longer with a dog that tears out running. I needed them for stitches she had between her toes. It is hard to size correctly I started with an extra large but eventually also got a large. She is a 60 pound dog.

I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan so I thought these, with their rubber bottom, would be perfect to protect my baby's paws (11 year old Doberman) from the cold snow and ice. And they WOULD have been perfect if they were a bit easier to put on. The velcro is ideal but if you didn't get it tight enough when starting out, by the time you took a bit of a walk, they would slip and the dog was not walking on the rubber part but on the material part which defeats the purpose.
