It was surprisingly good for the price. The cable is small enough to be hidden in the fairing of most vehicles. The sound quality is better than most car microphones. It's bulky and the mount is a little flimsy, but it does more than its price suggests.

My old microphone was so bad I couldn't even use it in my truck because everyone was complaining that they couldn't hear me. I installed this one and now everyone says they can't even tell I'm on speakerphone. Highly recommended!

Seems to work. I'm not sure if it's the mic or my old Pioneer receiver that was in the truck when I bought it, or if it's an old noisy diesel truck, but nobody likes the quality of the connection when I try to over it speak in the dark. TRUCK. Long story short, I don't use it and would return it, but taking it out is more work than it's worth.

Bought a box of oven Pioneer Head Unit at the best price. Though they claimed it had no components, it was missing a wired microphone, USB extension cable, and other small parts. I ordered this microphone and it works great. I installed it flush with the dash, leaving just enough of a lip so I could slide the foam windshield over it. This works great even with the window closed.

I call this thing Mick Tyson. That's a beast. As big as it is (imagine a tank dangling from the A-pillar), it's so crisp. It comes with a foam windscreen so you can literally take calls with the windows down. The kids can also chat with my wife from the back seat. If your car can live with an e-tumor, it's worth it. Installation was also very easy.

I bought this microphone for my Alpine car radio to ensure good sound quality when making phone calls in the car. I haven't installed it yet (you'll see why in a moment), but hopefully it meets or exceeds my expectations based on previous reviews of the product. Now the worst. It is a 2.5mm plug and my radio is 3.5mm. This very important piece of information was not included in the description, but it would have saved me a few more dollars and made further expansion of this project even more…
