This item is much cheaper than buying from an auto parts store and is just as good as an item from an auto parts store. Installed and works great

This part broke when the wires were hand tightened with a short screwdriver and 1/4 inch extension. It immediately idled my truck and fell apart in my hands upon removal. Purchased the factory setup personally from a Ford dealer and was very pleased with the result.

The mounting plate is not assembled correctly to mate with the bracket it is attached to, so it should be secured with one screw instead of two. The threads on the connectors are too small, so the mounting nuts are too loose and can easily break if overtightened. The only advantage of this product is that it works and costs only 4 times less than OEM. Buy two if one doesn't work.

Worked on first start. After installing it, I turned the key, the WTS light came on and the engine started immediately. Cute! An hour later I try to start and the WTS light just flashes and it won't even start. Batteries are dead. I charge the batteries overnight and try to start. I ordered this to fit my 1997 F250 7 3 and it is a piece of junk. I was so angry I didn't even line up the holes properly it didn't fit and it didn't match the position of the electrical connectors as soon as I put it on it just started smoking I took it off immediately threw it in the trash, went down and bought it at the parts store, now it works perfect don't waste it.
