NO DAMASK STEEL.

If you are looking for real damask knives, this is not it. They are pickled steel, great value but don't let the pickling fool you.

Excellent knives. in kitchen & dining room

These knives are great. I would recommend to anyone who loves a good and sharp knife. DO NOT put them in the dishwasher. Hand wash them and dry them immediately.

Good quality knife

Really amazing set, love it, recommend. They are very sharp and have a very unique look. Comes with a nice bag to store it, definitely worth buying. And the delivery was great, got here earlier than the exception.

Still sharp! in the kitchen and dining room

I have had these knives for almost a year now. They're still sharp. Some of the smaller knives have very small rust spots here and there, but that's because I used them as utility knives and washed them in the dishwasher. I hand wash it 90% of the time. I think it's good value for money.

This is an elegant and functional knife set

I like this knife set. It's both elegant and functional. Very sharp, to the point my wife used them as soon as they arrived and thought she cut through a helicopter! They are balanced and ergonomic. I would buy another one as a gift for a friend but unfortunately delivery takes a long time. Otherwise they are excellent.

Sturdy as far as I can tell, pay attention to the design

Haven't used them much yet, but as far as I can tell the build quality is solid and they're pretty sharp. Case and scabbard work well. My only criticism of them is that they aren't damascus steel and the design is laser engraved on them and that's why the knives look crappy. Granted it's partly my fault for not doing enough pre-research, but in my opinion the laser etching isn't done well. If you're looking for damascus steel, don't buy it. Otherwise they seem great.

Good but not great.

Decent knife set for the price. They look good, are a good weight and are very sharp. On the other hand, they have already started to rust a bit. In addition, the blades are not wide enough in my opinion. This makes them uncomfortable to use for long periods of time and my knuckles tend to hit the cutting board making a full cut difficult. I also broke the handle on a knife by dropping it on the tile. Therefore they are somewhat fragile. But that's my fault. Overall this is a decent knife set…

Great set to have….

Okay, I'm a professional chef. Knives are the tools of the trade and honestly you are only as good as the tools you work with! Still, I was skeptical about a set this cheap, but I took the plunge and I wasn't disappointed. I had expensive knives stolen or someone dropped them during the service when I let them use my knife!
