Not So Bright: my feedback

The light is too dim for my reptiles and barely provides any heat. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I knew this bulb would not meet their needs.

Pros
  • None.
Cons
  • Low light output, inadequate heat.

Outstanding UVB performance. Shelf life 5 days

I was hesitant to try this lamp but I trusted the reviews I had read. The lamp worked fine for 5 days and today I only see a glow at the base of the lamp.

Pros
  • Pet supplies
Cons
  • Low repairability

If the light doesn't turn on fully at first, WAIT!

At first we were worried because the first time we put it in the hood, the bulb was only half lit. When we checked again a few hours later, it was fully lit. I hope it lasts as long as our previous lamp and will be sure to report back on life expectancy in the future.

Pros
  • reptiles and amphibians
Cons
  • unreliable
