OEM and fits just right.

Fits perfectly and works as advertised. I will use it as a backup battery in case the battery fails to charge. AA batteries should be easy to find.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥

Authentic Yaesu FBA-39 AA case for Yaesu FT-2DR

Excellent 3 cell AA case for my new Yaesu FT-2DR. Now I can use the high capacity Panasonic Pro eNeloop cells as a backup. Or as main with factory as backup. Great original product

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Unusable features

Get ready!: Portable Audio & Video

Perfect backup for the battery that comes with the radio. I keep AA lithium batteries in it so they last a long time and don't leak. I like to use the Yaesu VX-8DR as an FM radio for a few hours, and the battery often runs out. I grab this one from my EDC bag, install it and ready to go until I charge another battery. "Be ready" is the motto of the scouts.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Nothing

It works and that's the main thing.

I thought this would make the radio (FD2DR) much wider than a regular battery but they are almost the same size. It connects to the radio just as easily as a regular battery and works as advertised. The radio (mine at least) shows the battery level on the screen just like a regular battery.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • I will add later

Hard landing, feels great on the radio.

The output power when using AA batteries is a little less than 1W, which isn't much but is sufficient for short distances. More importantly, you can power your radio with just a bunch of AA batteries for listening, monitoring, scanning and recording. Lately I've been using my FT3D as a scanner and it allows me to store my Li-Ion batteries for bi-directional use while I only use my AA NiMH batteries to power the radio for scanning and writing.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It would be sad to transfer at colossal speed.

Typical Yaesu quality. As another reviewer mentioned, it appears to at least be waterproof, so you won't lose that radio feature just because you've run out of lithium batteries. a whopping 0.8 watts (as is the case with the FT1XD when powered by this battery pack) but for surveillance, short range simplexing or running a powerful repeater it will definitely come in handy if your 2200mah batteries are empty. I didn't get one for this radio (FT1XD wasn't cheap, nor did many other accessories I'd

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Unfashionable

However, it works fine.

It's beautiful and does what I need. If my lithium batteries die or I am in a remote location (camping etc) I can use 3 AA batteries to power my radio. The battery life isn't great, of course, but in fact we're talking about an alternative power source. My main problem is that it's too expensive. I can get aftermarket replacement lithium for less than the price of this case without batteries. Yes, I knew this before I bought it, but I'll point it out to others who are looking at it and…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear
