Easy to Install / Zwave works great with Ring Alarm

Very easy to install. Pairing Zwave with my alarm clock was easy. Can be locked and unlocked in the Ring app. You can set a temporary passcode through the Ring app. Alexa can also block and unblock. Previous event reports have been accurate. A month has passed and the battery still shows 100%. Scalage/Kwikset locks have been used in the past, this has traditionally been more secure.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • piggy bank price

My favorite part is the linking to the Smartthings hub, so .

I replaced my regular screw with this one and connected it to my Ecobee 4 thermostat with Alexa hub built in and Samsung Smartthings. the bolt hole is large enough to be opened and closed smoothly in power saving mode, the batteries last forever; My favorite part is linking this to the Smartthings hub so that the door locks when I move out of Wi-Fi range and unlocks when I walk towards the door. I rarely touch the keyboard

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Lots of things

Nice and beautiful lock

The lock is compact, looks nice and works reliably from both the keyboard and the Samsung Smartthings app. Adding to the hub (version #3) was easy. My door is in the sun for several hours every day. This lock replaced a Kwick lock that had a touchscreen that cracked due to sunlight (kwick sent a replacement that cracked again fairly quickly). I hope it is more durable than other brands. A safety note: It doesn't start with random numbers that obscure the most commonly used touchscreen digits…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Expensive

Not a bad product: Security & Surveillance

I was a bit disappointed to find a few things. 1) I had to buy a smart home hub so it could communicate with Alexa and my WiFi. 2) It doesn't automatically lock when I close the door like it did on my Samsung. I think I just embraced it because why not, especially at this price point. It works well overall and unlike the Samsung lock I had, it has a key to use if the lock doesn't work. town (after a fourteen hour drive) when our Samsung lock failed and we had to go back and break into our own…

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Modernity

I installed this lock in January and initially had little to no problems. This week the lock got stuck after leaving the house and would not open on return. When you enter my code, the numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 will flash (forming a kind of "X" shape on the keyboard). Searching support doesn't provide any information and I couldn't find any documentation on this error code. I've seen a lone review website mentioning the exact same issue, but that's about it. I have found that the ONLY solution…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Gotchas
