Worked like a champ

Worked great on my 2000 600 Grizzly. The front boot went immediately. The back shoe needed some stretching. Added a slightly longer screw for the hull clamp. Started right after installation. Would have given 5 stars if the boot had been fitted.

Boots fit when warmed up!

My brother brought me a Grizzly 600 that wouldn't start! Sat so long that the carburetor was completely stuck! I bought this carb and when I installed the original boots I washed them and left them in hot water! Then I mounted them on the carburettor, they were tight but fitted with some effort! 10 minutes of work if that's the case! Has yet to be installed but most of the complaints are about the boots!

Will Not Fit Parts

Like most aftermarket carburetors you will find at Revain that say they will fit a 1999 Yamaha Grizzly, this one will not fit. The inlet and outlet openings are significantly larger than on a standard carburettor. It didn't even come close to the stock rubber boot that connects the carburetor to the engine and intake box. I sent it back and ordered the part that comes with new rubber boots. Hopefully these new boots will match the engine and airbox.

Powered by a 1999 Grizzly 600

Had to run the inlet hose in hot water for it to work. The fuel line also had to be heated for the installation of the new fitting. Was very hesitant to install it after reading other reviews. * No instructions given. * Hoses too narrow. ! I checked twice to put in the biggest bait for the big one (extras were sent with this carb). This carburetor has 3 jets that give you a smooth transition from low to full idle. The numbers are stamped on the nozzles so you know their size. In general. If you

not a direct replacement

I knew what I was getting into when I bought this carb BUT I got a free Grizzly 600 that has been sitting in my backyard for 8 years. The guy who gave it to me had it new, one day the carb started leaking so he rebuilt the carb but he couldn't get it to work again so he had it in his yard. Before I devote too much time to it, I decided that a $35 carb would be worth the money to at least let me know if cycling was worth my time. . So yes, the carburetor fits. and no, it was no more difficult to
