Product doesn't work with 2014 9.9 hp Yamaha

The only item I could use was the impeller. The bolts were much longer than the originals; the plate did not line up with the old base plate, so It didn't fit, and the cup was a slightly different diameter making installation impossible. I would not repurchase this again.

Description said for 9.9 Yamaha outboard

The large metal plate one of the critical holes was off by 1/2 the dimension of the hole fortunately I didn't have to reuse the metal plate

absolutely perfect best in my review

So changing this out is not bad to do on your own. The parts were a perfect fit for my 2000 yamaha F100TLRY, I had never touched an outboard motor but there are plenty of videos online to help you get this one accomplished. Be sure to check your water lines, mine had chunks stuck in it from an impeller that had fallen apart some time ago, because the impeller I replaced with this kit was actually in good shape. I bought it used so there ya go. If you're doing this for the first time you may not

Not right parts. for my opinion

Did NOT fit my 2012 Yamaha 15hp even tho description said it would. Plate to big with shifter hole in wrong location. Damper water seal to small and had 2 rubber posts instead of 1 so it would not fit housing. The impeller would have fit but why pay $28 for a kit when a $10 impeller was all I could use. Lost 8 days with shipping waiting to find out it didn't fit and ordering/receiving the right one.
