Great idea but doesn't work

Sewing machine needles don't fit and the included needle is too thick and won't snap into place

Cheap tool: Tailor's Awl

Not satisfied at all. The needle sleeve is not tight on the needle and the thread hole behind the needle is too large, causing the needle to dangle and press on the spool of thread. This makes it much more difficult to use.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Very expensive

Absolutely normal. Most of time.

The needle sleeve does not hold the needle tight enough and the needle is pushed through. Even when tightening with an open-end wrench. Luckily I can add a small spot weld to prevent this, but not everyone has that luxury.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Disappear
