secure bolt mount

I have these for mounting my cord lights in my garden. There's enough pressure on them. They were easy to install and durable. I wasn't sure what size drill bit to use, but I started small and kept enlarging the hole until it fit.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

Knowing what you're getting into

These hooks are a great idea but they didn't work for me as they fit into the hollow block wall. By design they must use solid blocks or concrete as the flared sleeve end is longer than the standard block thickness. Otherwise they are well made and should work well.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Excellent latch hook

I used a pair of these in a brick wall for the steel cables that hold my patio garlands. The cables have stretched a long way, so I have them very tight. The hook stays firmly in the wall and I'm sure it will continue to hold when balls and even a parasol hit it. Also, there is no sign of rust as it should be.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
