🎒 Yeacool Backpacking Shovel: Lightweight Multitool for Camping, Gardening, and Outdoor Activities Review

We took this shovel on a long trip and it was AMAZING. The shovel is strong and light, but still works very well. It's a great shape for slicing through dirt with ease, so it worked great throughout our ride. Recommend this as an addition to your camping kit!

There are better alternatives, similar in price and they weigh a lot less if you are a baby. (Check out the Tentlabs spatula if ultralight is important). The "tools" on the scapula are useless and meaningless. BUT the bigger this paddle the easier it will be to dig a cat hole in hard soil but for me it doesn't matter that much. What works for you? It depends on you.

My buddies teased me a bit, they all had plastic spatulas. BUT when we got to the campsite the dirt was rocky and with small roots everywhere. They couldn't dig up a simple whole to do "deals". I, on the other hand, had this blade! I was able to dig up and cut the roots. The blade on the side was so sharp I could cut through anything with this thing! Yes, it's "a bit" harder, but it was really amazing. good product!

Absolutely great little tool to use here in Colorado. I've used it to trim bushes, trees and sprinkler systems when I'm laying sod in my yard and it's been used many times when camping and camping. The only issue I have is the 550 Parachord wrapped around the handle. When digging in rocky terrain, it slipped and had to be replaced with something else. But I love this little tool and highly recommend it.

I came across this product while looking for metal detector tools. I'm primarily looking in the Arizona desert and need something permanent. I liked the looks and the extra features, but it's not sturdy enough for what I need. This is a great little camping/hiking tool. It would be even better if it was about 2-3 inches longer, another inch and a half wider, and made of steel a bit thicker. This is a good start, and the design is on point. Almost finished.

I love the look, quality and design of this tool. The paracord wrapped handle is comfortable but provides a good grip. The blade is strong and, although serrated, doesn't feel very sharp. I would assume it can be sharpened but I would only consider it a last resort option for a saw. Other tools including a nail puller and allen wrench also work as you would expect from a tool of this size and length. I never thought I would need a multifunctional spatula but when I saw this one I thought it might come in handy. I was right! When it came down to it, I had to sharpen the edge. Nothing will be cut when you receive it, but that might be for security reasons. Even if it works fine now. While doing this I also added an edge to the digging part to help with digging through roots and such, but I do this with all my shovels. It works great in the garden and is probably where it's most commonly used.
