Beautiful Appearance Yealink

A nice update to Yealink's IP phone line. I've had several older Yealink IP phones and this one has certainly improved the style and functionality greatly. Because of this, the old models just look OLD! Will buy more of these Yealink models in the future.

  • High Quality Design

Wrong product advertised. Check out the Drone Express

We bought this phone on the 19th January and it works great as does every other phone in the office. BUT the phone we received is a T41S and not a T41P as advertised. Be careful when buying from Drone Express as you may have to return your phone because you received the wrong model. This cost us several hours of work and reduced productivity. I will no longer do business with this seller.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Didn't work for me, won't buy again.

I never managed to get it to work with my Asterisk system. The tech support site wouldn't let me ask for help - kept saying I was spamming it. The forums didn't help much either. Some scold them, others scold them. I was about to get into the second group. I ended up being so upset that I sent it back. You may have a better experience than me, but I won't buy another one of these.

Pros
  • Only positives
Cons
  • So far so good

Amazing VoIP experience!

The Yealink SIP-T41P became one of my favorite tools in my home office just hours after installing it. The screen is nice, the product is well built and overall very easy on the eyes. The web interface leaves a lot to be desired in terms of explaining each little feature/option, but thankfully an active online community and user manual make this bearable. I am currently using this VoIP device with one line to my Ringio PBX and the other to my Google Voice account. Will be updated if problemsโ€ฆ

The display is wrong and the phone needs power!

This phone is Power over Ethernet (PoE). If your switches don't have this feature, you need to buy a power adapter for another $10. The description says 3 lines but it is actually a 6 line phone. Here is the guide: http://www.yealink.com/Upload/T4X/20140102/Yealink%20SIP-T41P%20Datasheet.pdf I installed it last night and so far so good. I have set up 3 lines on it. Can't say if I would buy it again as I have no desire or need for 6 lines. I would probably go with something cheaper. This is aโ€ฆ

Worst "phone " I've ever had.

I bought this phone to work in a shop that has a lot of phones. This phone is cheaply made, looks and works like a Fisher Price phone. It's so light that when you press the buttons, your phone will bounce back onto the table. Also particularly annoying is the constant ability of phones to skip numbers when dialing a phone number, resulting in the message "This number is not available because it has been dialed". They have to be careful to press the keys at the right angle so they can chooseโ€ฆ
