I used to have a hard time with a condensate pump that lifted water about 8 feet off the ground. The water flows back into the condensate pump and the pump turns on to lift it up the column only for it to flow back and circulate over and over again. The problem reappeared even with a new non-return valve on the condensate pump. I got one of them every 3 feet and voila, problem solved.
