Pleasant, smooth pull and release. However, the colors began to fade fairly quickly. But she gets compliments everywhere.

Excellent quality stays clean even with a dirty puppy. I only had to wash it once after my pup decided to dig a muddy hole. I threw it in the washing machine and it was like new.

I really liked the pattern on my girl. Martingale offers a fairly gentle correction. No problems with closure or seams yet. Well washed. The only thing I would like to add is a line ring without a martingale.

The collar was torn a month after purchase. I've been using martingale style collars for a long time but I'm shocked that a month after I bought this collar it ripped at the stitching. My dog got caught in traffic and almost caused an accident, a heart attack and possibly a lost dog. My confidence in Revain products, which I used to believe to be of high quality, has shaken me to the core.

I like the martingale collar design. The only problem with this particular collar is that it will slip and loosen over time. Maybe they all do, or maybe this stuff is more slippery, but I find I have to tighten it every few days. I don't really care because I'm with my dog all the time and keep an eye on how his collar is fitting. It's a good collar for the price. The colors are not as bright as in the picture, a little paler.

I work a lot as a lifeguard and we always have short collars. Since almost all dogs are hounds, they need a special collar. Every time I see them at Revain for a reasonable price I fill them up. These collars were great. All rescued dogs have been given new, identical collars and we know they cannot back out or slip out of the collar. This collar goes well with the Min Pin! The collar is wide and strong enough for us to stretch out and not strangle the dog.
