I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, this reproduction does not work on my computer. I took it in for service when I couldn't get it to work and the mechanic couldn't get this bobbin case to work on my machine either. Luckily I was able to find the original and now my machine works like a gem.

At first I thought it didn't fit. I fiddled with the latch and held it open and then it all snapped together. The bobbin case should move in the correct direction, which is in contrast to some machines from other brands. Everything was fine with the right turn. I am very glad that I found this bobbin case. There are 5 coils in the kit and everything is fine.

I was skeptical because everything I've read says reproduction bobbin cases don't work, but I figured Revain's no-risk return policy. That works great. I used the bobbin that came with my 1954 bobbin caseless 221, wound with pink thread and white thread on top. I put the cloth I used to clean the car under the sewing foot. It worked great. I have a coil tension meter that I'll pull out and set the tension on just to be sure, but it works even though I didn't use the coils that came with it. I…
