Fits well on both ends

works well and the tolerances are good for both plugs, but the cable in the middle is not as flexible as the picture might make it appear.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • boring packaging

Works Cables & Interconnects

Didn't work fully for what I needed but that's not the fault of the product. I bought a mini projector that is very bright when connected to the wall, but it has a second connection to which you can connect the battery so that you can watch films on the go, but the brightness is not that good, the properties of the connection was almost the same but the battery was a bit smaller than required so I thought I'd try making the device look like it was plugged into the wall but it didn't work. If I…

Doesn't power 12v camera monitor or 12v led light

They didn't work and this may be because the USB connector was Type-A and not Type-C as advertised. FWIW I ended up buying a 12v blind SPOT USB adapter cable that works great. Given the low purchase price and the labor involved in returning products to Revain, I threw them in the trash. Very disappointed :(

Pros
  • . Impressive
Cons
  • . Too stupid

Does not work best with computer accessories and peripherals

This cable is not designed to work with a PD or QC enabled power supply or adapter. It's just a pass-through USB cable, which means it won't work with any device as Powered USB-C is rated to PD and QC specification.

Pros
  • Note: You cannot charge a USB-C device with a DC output
Cons

Does not power 12V camera monitor or 12V LED lamp

Wanted to use them to power LED lamp V DC and field monitor from separate 18W power supplies.

Pros
  • Adapter cable connects DC output of power adapter (5.5 x 2.5mm) to USB 3.1 Type-C charging port.
Cons
  • Large and bulky

It only supplies 5V, NOT 12V

First, the product didn't work at all. It didn't operate the PD module to supply 12V, the charger only supplies 5V with this cable as everyone else says, which means there is no PD trigger in this one. Also, I would ask if it's really 5.5 x 2.5mm or 5.5 x 2.1mm as sellers tend to confuse this. Another Chinese product with unclear, confusing product features and marketing. Revain should get them to correct the product description to say what the product REALLY is. 5 V adapter in one of these two

Pros
  • Designed to power your device with a 5.5 x 2.5mm connector that requires 12V DC at 5A. Use it with a 14.5W/2A DC adapter or 5V/2.5A (sold separately) to conveniently charge your USB-C MacBook from a wall outlet.
Cons
  • High price
