Like the others, we had to file the white teeth a bit. Used a cheap nail file, one of those brown ones. We also used some petroleum jelly to "stick" the teeth when putting the collar on. For use with a Kenmore brand portable dishwasher. I'm glad my dishwasher is back.

All parts fit perfectly except for the small white clips - they were too big. After reading the reviews and seeing that others suggested archiving the clips before installing, I gave it a try. with a lot of hard work and determination and weeks to figure it out. Doesn't work for us. The white pieces were too big for the device, which is odd because they came with the entire setup. We followed another reviewer's advice and sent it down, but it still didn't work. But luckily we only spent $13. I think this is a good buy. We just bought a new dishwasher.

Exactly what I needed! After reading the reviews I was concerned I would have to file my teeth (small pieces of plastic) but I didn't. For the low price I decided it was worth a try and better than buying a hose or a new dishwasher. My dishwasher is over 20 years old and still works perfectly. I didn't want to give up. I only used teeth (fitted perfectly) and the replacement took less than 5 minutes. I'm a lucky tourist!

I should have known when I had to grind the prongs to fit the Kenmore dishwasher and now those little plastic prongs wear out fast. I replaced a kit and now the exchange failed and the return window closed last month so I will be ordering the OEM part on partselect.com that I should have ordered. My tip: order original parts and wash them by hand until they arrive.
