An excellent source of warmth for baby animals.

I used this for chicks instead of the gr lamp due to the risk of fire when using heat lamps. I couldn't be happier with this pillow. I can set the temperature I want for 24 hours and I don't have to worry about them getting cold or my house burning down. I also bought a larger size so they can move to the stable. Very cheap price for these pads. The quality is good, chewing the line is not a problem in my situation, but I can say that the line seems to be well reinforced.

Bought not for dogs

I took this under my desk I have neuropathy. Actual feet for humans were 1/2 size or smaller. The cover drove me insane. And continued, I thought it would work with pets too. I put my feet down and don't move. Spring. My dog rolls at my feet to stay evenly warm. I removed the cover. If I were using it on a dog, I would do the same thing and throw the blanket in. There is no heating in our house and our dogs love it!

I didn't find anything to trip over! My dogs don't chew string so I can't tell if they are resistant to chewing but it's definitely great haha I have the biggest one. I will definitely be ordering a few more! Later I will post official photos of my dogs. It is great! And so accessible! There is no heater in our house so I bought this for my kids and they love it! Their little heater recently broke right after I bought them this heating pad so it was a lifesaver! My little river especially loves
