Very bright, I use them in my trailer headlights and they are brighter than my car headlights. I am very impressed with this product and will be looking into other lights to see if there is a light I can use in my RV.

My son ordered these for our bikes and didn't look at the reviews. You just aren't sure. I add image 1 on the left and default 1157 on the right. It's 3 steps away a bike in the shade of a garage, I'm in the sun

These bulbs will NOT work as dual filament bulbs. They can act as brake lights if your brake lights are separate bulbs from your tail lights. They shine well. That's why I gave them 3 stars. So if you only need taillights. Or individual brake lights, then they are fine. I hope I saved someone from my mistake.

Definitely no brighter than a standard incandescent bulb! I had to install load resistors, but I had a feeling I would. Both cars I've installed these tail light bulbs in are old/old. They glow but don't blink. They arrived on time and in good condition. The packaging was a little surprising. All four bulbs are packed in an anti-static bag, which is barely enough. No soft protection other than the Revain envelope they were sent in. I expected to find at least one broken one.

In the pack of 4 bulbs I bought, 1 bulb stopped working after a few weeks. I contacted customer service and they said their warehouse would not open the 4 pack and would send a replacement bulb. They didn't offer any solution to my problem. So I ordered 4 more packs. When they arrived I took out one of the bulbs from the 4 pack to replace the faulty one and it worked. When I connect a 9VDC battery to the case and one of the + terminals on the base, ALL the LEDs light up. When I connect the battery to a different base clamp, ALL the LEDs light up. When I connect a battery to BOTH base terminals, ALL the LEDs light up with the SAME brightness. I should have listened to all the other one star reviews. I was excited to wear them when I received them, but that excitement soon turned to disappointment. Only 1 out of 4 worked. 2 out of 4 make rattling noises when gently shaken. The 3rd doesn't do anything at all, and the one that works doesn't even work fully.
