1992 Integra GSR: Doesn't fit directly. If they had been properly matched I would have rated them higher. I had to use a file to remove material from the sides of the LED bulb stem before it would fit into a standard size 74 Honda/Acura socket. I then had to drill a bit through the dash body to fit the LED bulb head. I would just return them and start with another brand but my dash was disassembled waiting for the bulbs to arrive. Light bulbs appear bright. The lamp shaft is wider than the…

A little too big. Revision 12/2020

It worked great for the first time. My speedometer and tachometer are much brighter. The only problem I had was that they were too big. The diameter of the board with LEDs is larger than the diameter of the hole on the dashboard board. I had to carefully file the holes to fit them. They are so bright that I had to dim them a bit. They're also polarized, so you need to use them properly. Some of the bulbs didn't light up the first time. I turned her around and VIOLA! All systems are running…

2005 Subaru Impreza RS

Fits me great - Just make sure if you fit one that doesn't work, you either rotate the bulb itself or the part that fits your tooling. Blackboard. LEDs cannot work with - and + reversed. You must vote. I had this with one of my lamps. This worked for all the regular spark plug lights on my dash, as well as the light in the glove box (didn't even know it was there! Glad I changed the cabin filter at the same time!) Very bright, but they're dimmable. It's been a few weeks and so far so good. No…

Exceptionally bright

Fitted to a 1997 Ford Expedition. Exceptionally bright. Too bright for use as dashboard lighting. Even when fully dimmed, these lamps light up almost completely, so complete darkness is not possible. When the lights are off there is actually enough leakage current to barely light the LEDs, which is actually nice since you can tell where and which lights are. Although the "Check Engine" light was too bright when off, I had to reset the bulb. These are white bulbs, so the lighting looks blue…

Good replacement for incandescent bulbs

I bought them in light blue and white. The LEDs are very bright and are the right size for replacing bulbs in the instrument cluster of a BMW F650GS Dakar motorcycle. However, since they are designed to emit from the same plane (one direction), they don't spread the light across my sensors as evenly as incandescent bulbs. Hence the effect of lighter and darker areas of illumination on my speedometer and tachometer. In addition, the spectrum of white LEDs shifts too much in the direction of cold

  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Didn't fit.

Not the suppliers fault but it was quite a bit of work to get the job done. General Motors, in their boundless wisdom, soldered instrument bulbs into the sockets. To get them to work I had to desolder the original bulbs, then solder the wire to the LED pins, then solder the wire back into the sockets. A very lengthy process. After the first pair (which I used on top of the instruments) I realized that the LEDs are actually longer than the original bulbs, so I started shortening their length by…

Glove box light best on gauge

My 2002 Toyota Tacoma has a glove box light which I found out about by accident. A few years ago I opened the glove box one night and saw the light flicker on briefly and then go out. I tried unsuccessfully to find out how this happened, but then I realized that there really is a light in the glove box. I put it out of my mind for a few years, but a few days ago I thought about it and went on a few Tacoma forums to see if I could find out anything about it. I found the spot which was a small…

Good product to replace burned out light bulbs. Much brighter, less heat.

I don't often write product reviews but thought this might help some people. I bought these to replace burned out light bulbs in the dashboard of a 2006 Subaru Impreza. I couldn't see my tach and half my speedometer at night. For this type of dashboard, used from 2002 to at least 2007, you will need #74 size bulbs for everything you buy. Installation: I received and installed them yesterday. They fit well and I even replaced some of the bulbs that weren't blown but were "always on" behind the…
